Now let’s be honest…you didn’t come to the pub for Dry January. So instead we’re celebrating all things gin throughout January.
Introducing GINUARY (see what we did there).
You’re ginvited to a celebrate a month of ginsanity and ginspiration with Gingo Bingo, bespoke gin menus and masterclasses.
We’re working with eight fantastic gins throughout Ginuary to bring you some fantastic bespoke G&T menus:
Fishers
Foraged ingredients, a unique distilling process and a shared passion – Fishers Gin was born from two men’s desire to capture the raw energy and purity of the great Suffolk coastline.
Bathtub Gin
A multi award-winning gin which is made using a traditional method known as cold compounding. Botanicals such as juniper, coriander, cardamom, cassia, orange peel and clove are infused in top quality copper pot-still spirit, resulting in Bathtub Gin’s extraordinary flavour as well as its handsome tint. Think of it as the ‘dry-hopping’ of gin
Silent Pool
Silent Pool is considered by some to be a sacred site. It is linked to a folklore tale that says King John on his horse abducted a woodcutter’s daughter who was forced into the deep water and drowned. According to the legend, the maiden can be seen at midnight.
A rich and clean juniper-driven spirit, Silent Pool Gin is produced using 24 botanicals and the cool, clear spring-water from the Silent Pool itself. Floral notes of lavender and chamomile combine with the freshness of citrus, grounded with the subtle sweetness of local honey, to create a well-balanced gin that is both traditional and refreshingly individual in nature.
Tanqueray / Tanqueray 10
Fortune favours the brave. Back in the 1830 ́s Charles Tanqueray wasn’t afraid to mix his bold ideas. His ingenious pursuit for perfection paid off, creating Tanqueray London Dry, a perfectly balanced gin and one of the most awarded gins in the world.
Sipsmith
The quintessential expression of a classic London Dry Gin. Bold, complex and aromatic – smooth enough for a Martini, yet rich and balanced, perfect for a G&T.
Portobello
Nine botanical ingredients come from around the world; these include juniper berries and orris from Tuscany, Spanish lemon peels, bitter orange peels from Haiti or Morocco, nutmeg from Indonesia and cassia bark from South East Asia.
Monkey 47
A good third of the ingredients for this special gin come from the Black Forest and are definitely not what you would call typical gin flavorings! In total, 47 handpicked ingredients, prepared in extremely soft spring water from our own Black Forest source. containers.
