We have all been there. When it comes to choosing the perfect Christmas dinner, the pressure is high. It is that once in a year party that we wish lasted forever and that once in year meal that get us going through the toughest month of the year – January.

At Hippo, our menus are meticulously designed to bring you the best flavours of the season at each forkful. However, with all the deliciousness amongst the options, you might ask… where to begin?

To make life easy like Christmas morning, we’ve asked our Exec-Chef Jamie Polito to compile the four ultimate festive dinner line-ups.

The big one

Cumbrian air dried ham, figs, Port and black pepper dressing;

Overnight cooked beef sirloin, creamed spinach, fondant potato;

Christmas pudding, brandy butter.

 

Available on Christmas day only

 

The crowd-pleaser

Overnight cooked pork croquette, piccalilli;

Norfolk bronze turkey, chipolatas, red cabbage, chestnuts, bread sauce;

Christmas pudding, brandy butter.

 

The plant-based one

Raw winter salad, cranberries, fennel and pine nuts;

Pumpkin and truffle gnocchi, black cabbage, salsify and hazelnuts;

Chocolate and almond brownie, vegan yogurt ice cream.

 

The experimental one

Bream ceviche, horseradish, lime and pea shoots;

Breast of duck, sausage roll, orange and endive salad;

Mango and coconut panna cotta, nibbed cacao, shortbread.
